Stockholm bus fire allegedly caused by biogas tube

A public bus has caught fire in Stockholm after what investigators believe to be a biogas explosion, The Local reports.

There were no passengers on the bus at the time of the incident, however the driver was taken to the hospital with burn injuries in a ‘serious but stable’ condition.

According to the report, fire and rescue services suspect a biogas tube on top of the bus ran into a warning sign overhead and exploded after the driver accidentally took a wrong turn into a tunnel.
