Veidekke unit wins $21 million contract to build biogas plant in Norway

Veidekke unit Seby secured a 205 million-Norwegian-krone ($20.6 million) contract from Norwegian utility Nedre Romerike Avløpsselskap IKS to build a biogas plant in Lillestrøm, Norway.

The 6,000-square-metre project will include a process building, sludge reception, dewatering building and administration building, according to a statement from the company.

The Norwegian construction group expects to start construction in August 2022, with completion scheduled for June 2024.
