Gen-C to showcase pay-as-you-go engine support
Promising to cut engine servicing costs "by up to 50 percent, increase CHP uptime and improve overall plant efficiency", Gen-C says its new digital-first offering "enables frustrated AD plant operators to break free from expensive and restrictive CHP servicing contracts".
“With many engines on UK biogas plants now approaching 48,000 hours of operation – meaning a major E70 service is required – traditional service providers may be encouraging AD operators to sign up to another long-term, costly contract,” says James Thompson, managing director of Gen-C.
He added: “In fact, the E70 service milestone is the ideal moment for CHP owners to walk away from their restrictive monthly contract and choose a flexible service offering that cuts their costs, improves their engine’s performance and puts them firmly in control.”
At Biogas Expo 2022, Gen-C will demonstrate key highlights, including:
- Smart, open-access control panels that enable instant engine restarts, remote access and intelligent troubleshooting, boosting engine uptime and letting you get on with the job of running your AD plant.
- Full engine upgrades with biogas-specific parts for fewer process interruptions, lean energy utilisation and optimised electricity production.
- All major and minor servicing including E70, courtesy of Gen-C’s highly qualified service partners.
- Genuine spares for all major engine brands including MWM, Jenbacher, MAN, Scania and Liebherr, with next-day delivery and 12-months technical support as standard.
