Renova restarts 75MW Tokushima-Tsuda biomass plant after repairs
The plant, which uses wood pellets and palm kernel shells as fuel, can produce around 500,000 MWh per year — sufficient to meet the electricity demand of approximately 150,000 households annually.
Renova said the unscheduled outage will have no impact on its consolidated financial results forecast for the current fiscal year, as the suspension fell within the scope of unscheduled downtime anticipated in its initial plan for the biomass power generation business.
