Mabanaft to speak at upcoming Bioenergy International/Tank Storage Asia expo & conference
Ong Eng Tong, business development manager for the Asia Pacific at Mabanaft, Singapore, is the latest speaker to confirm his participation in the upcoming Bioenergy International/Tank Storage Asia expo & conference.
Tong has over 30 years of experience in the bulk liquid storage sector, and is also an emerging expert in the renewable energy market so will speak on biofuels and their role in Asia. For the past four years Tong has been exploring biofuels exports from Asia to Europe.
Mabanaft Singapore focuses on trading middle distillates and corresponding blending components, with most supplies coming from the Far East. Mabanaft Singapore exports its products through Europe and the US and is also pursuing trade possibilities in the local Asian market, to enable to company to be able to respond immediately to surpluses and shortfalls.
Tong will be speaking on day one of the day two event which runs from 10-11th November, and is being held at the Hotel Maya in Kuala Lumpur.

The combined Tank Storage Asia/Bioenergy International expo & conference, is organised by Tank Storage and Biofuels International magazine and attracts traders, storage terminal operators, oil companies, biofuel producers, biofuel suppliers, regulators and other industry experts to discuss the region’s renewable fuel, storage and infrastructure needs.
This is the first time in four years that the event has moved from the traditional oil hub of Singapore to the emerging storage and biofuel market of Malaysia. When it comes to producing renewable fuels Malaysia has an enormous amount of potential, being one of the world’s largest palm producing regions and being a country with a large amount of land availability.
