The combined Tank Storage Asia/Bioenergy International expo & conference, is organised by Tank Storage and Biofuels International magazine and attracts traders, storage terminal operators, oil companies, biofuel producers, biofuel suppliers, regulators and other industry experts to discuss the region’s renewable fuel, storage and infrastructure needs.

This is the first time in four years that the event has moved from the traditional oil hub of Singapore to the emerging storage and biofuel market of Malaysia. When it comes to producing renewable fuels Malaysia has an enormous amount of potential, being one of the world’s largest palm producing regions and being a country with a large amount of land availability. Despite this biofuel production has dropped in recent months. This conference provides the ideal opportunity to bring together producers, technological experts, sustainability analysts and regulators to find out why this is and what can be done to turn the situation around for 2011.

When it comes to bulk liquid storage Malaysia does not face the space constraints that Singapore does. Land is relatively cheap, the location is strategic and unsurprisingly many terminals are under construction. This event is the ideal location for terminal operators, traders and oil majors to come together to find out where the potential lies, how to most effectively expand terminal projects and discover what the future holds.
