Suzuki Motor Corporation (Suzuki) has concluded a three-party agreement to set up four biogas production plants in India.
The agreement is between Suzuki R&D Center India Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Suzuki in India; National Dairy Development Board (NDDB); and Banas Dairy, one of the largest dairy manufacturers in Asia.

Bulgarian cellulose producer Sviloza has commissioned a grid-connected installation for generating heating and electricity from waste biomass for an investment of 70 million levs (€35.8 million) in total, reported SeeNews.

Norsk Hydro has said that bioenergy can replace fossil energy in the casthouse and the anode production at its Sunndal aluminium plant in Norway.
