Industrial gas and equipment supplier Air Products is planning to construct a renewable energy plant in Tees Valley, UK.
The facility still needs to be approved by Stockton on Tees Borough Council and receive consent from the Environment Agency. However, if it goes ahead, 50 permanent jobs will be created, in addition to 500-700 construction jobs.

In a bid to cut its greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, British Airways (BA) has teamed up with Solena Group, a renewable energy producer, to construct a waste-to-biofuels plant.

US energy firm Bowerman Power has opened a new green energy plant in California.
The plant, based in Orange County, will turn landfill gas into electricity. According to Bowerman, the facility will provide enough electricity to power 26,000 homes.
