Councillors are discussing a material amendment application for a Warminster, UK-based biogas plant, which was approved by Wiltshire Council in July last year.

In Honolulu, Hawaii, Hawaiian Electric Company has submitted a request for an annual supply of 3 to 7 million gallons of biodiesel.
The biodiesel will power the 100MW Campbell Estate Industrial Park generating station – one of the world's largest commercial-scale power plants to be 100% fuelled by biodiesel.

In Surat, India, Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC) is looking to build three biogas-fired power plants, which will generate 20,000 units of electricity a day.

Located in Spakenburg, the Netherlands, the facility is one of the largest in the nation. It has enough capacity to provide 3,500 households with gas.
