Singapore to host region’s defining bioenergy showcase

Bioenergy Expo Asia 2027 has officially opened global exhibitor bookings, establishing a dedicated commercial and technical nexus for the biomass, biogas and agricultural waste-to-energy sectors across Southeast Asia. Scheduled for 29–30 September 2027 at Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre in Singapore, the event targets the region's most urgent market challenge: securing stable, traceable feedstock supply chains.

As regional project developers accelerate commercial pipelines to meet aggressive decarbonisation targets, feedstock availability has emerged as the single most vital operational hurdle facing the bioenergy industry. The two-day expo provides a specialised platform designed to bridge agricultural producers, waste management operators and clean gas developers, cutting through mounting pressure to navigate evolving carbon accounting laws, sustainability certifications and supply chain auditing requirements.

Running co-located alongside Liquid Terminals Asia 2027, the dual-event ecosystem delivers comprehensive access to downstream storage and transport infrastructure, ensuring bio-intermediates can be efficiently moved from processing sites to regional distribution hubs.

Technical experts, policy advisors and engineering pioneers will evaluate real-world case studies and establish profitable joint ventures across three core focus areas: feedstock sourcing and supply chain security, unlocking reliable regional volumes of agricultural residues, forestry by-products, used cooking oil and palm oil mill effluent; biomethane and biogas infrastructure, driving commercial focus on anaerobic digestion, gas upgrading technologies and grid-injection projects; and traceability and certification standards, exploring digital auditing tools, software solutions and ESG compliance frameworks that verify green credentials from origin to final offtake.

Exhibition floor space is now live, with project developers and technology suppliers invited to secure their presence at the region's defining bioenergy showcase.
