US-based operator ReEnergy is shutting down the ‘last’ running 39MW biomass plant in the Aroostock Count in Maine which currently employs 20 people, The County reports.

Connecticut-based Quantum Biopower announced that its anaerobic digestion (AD) facility in Southington is expecting an upgrade to handle an unexpected rise in packaged food waste.

Pinnacle Renewable Energy (Pinnacle) has announced that its wood pellet facility in Entwistle, Alberta has had to temporarily stop production due to a fire.
