Brazil’s National Bank for Economic and Social Development invests €8.5m into new biogas plant

The biggest bioenergy plant in India is due to be inaugurated in Lehragaga on 18 October, The Tribune reported.
With an investment of Rs 220 crore (€27.4m), the plant is being set up by Germany-based Verbio AG's Indian subsidiary.
It aims to reduce 1.5 lakh tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions each year, by utilising crop residue (straw) to produce biogas and manure.
