OMEX Environmental has been busy behind the scenes moving to new premises in Sutton Bridge, Spalding in England.
Commencing business in 1989, OMEX Environmental has grown with the ever-changing industry of wastewater treatment and biogas, increasing in size and knowledge as a result.
It has been adapting to an ever-changing environment by working with its customers to help reduce their environmental impacts, treat their waste and help them operate to their maximum efficiently.
The new head office, laboratory, production and warehouse facilities, along with support teams, align with OMEX Environmental’s expansion in research and development, production and storage capacity with the aim of supplying excellent product performance and customer service, said the company.
Frank Thomson, managing director at OMEX, stated: “We are investing in OMEX Environmental Ltd, leading company in wastewater treatment and anaerobic digestion in the UK and operating in over 30 countries worldwide, creating a new head office, increasing production and warehousing as well as investing into a new R&D laboratory facility to ensure we continue to be at the forefront of wastewater treatment and biogas production, improving performance and supplying excellent customer service.
"It is key to base our technical solutions on state-of-the-art laboratory testing and make this available to the wider market while continually developing our products to be the best in market for wastewater treatment, maximising the efficiency and minimising the cost to our customers, and anaerobic digestion customers to optimise the biological performance of their biogas plants, while taking our position as an environmentally responsible business.”
Philip Sheppardson, operations director, has been working hard to get the site ready with increased storage, offices and laboratory research & development areas.
He commented: “I have seen a lot of change since I started with the company 30 years ago and have seen the business continue to grow, especially within the renewable energy sectors. Moving to this new site has been a great move for the company and will help us to continue to grow as a business and we look forward to this continuing at our new premises.”
“The new Sutton Bridge site is an important next step in OMEX Environmental’s journey," added chairman Max Winkler. "The excellent laboratory facilities and increased manufacturing and storage capacity support current and future growth. We are experiencing significant interest in our products and services as leaders in the biogas and wastewater treatment industries for over 34 years. It’s an exciting time for the business in a world that requires greater access to renewable energy and clean water.”
