Four men have been sentenced to prison following a break-in at the Northwich Biogas Plant in Cheshire, North-West England in February, bringing the total number jailed for the offence to five.
Cezar Tudoran, 30, of Northampton, received a 10-month sentence, while Florian State, 22, of Luton, Oprea Elvis-Paris, 20, of Leicester, and Renato-Mario Grosu, 18, of Luton, each received eight-month sentences.
All four were sentenced at Chester Crown Court on 17 April after pleading guilty to burglary other than a dwelling. A fifth man, Paul Matei, 37, of Luton, was sentenced to one year in prison at Chester Magistrates Court in February.
Cheshire Police said the group travelled from Luton to Northwich on 19 February to carry out the raid, making off with copper cabling and other equipment with a total value of more than £50,000.
They were identified after the insurance policy on their van was traced back to one of their addresses.
Detective Sergeant John Lyons of Cheshire Police said the burglary had involved a significant level of planning, with the offenders travelling halfway across the country to target a commercial premises.
'I hope the outcome of this case reassures local residents and businesses of how seriously we take burglary and the lengths we will go to bring offenders to justice,' he said.
