BioteCH4 appoints MD to accelerate growth strategy
Simm joins from Severn Trent Green Power, bringing extensive leadership experience across the AD sector and a track record in operational performance, commercial growth and innovation. His appointment comes at the midpoint of BioteCH4's three-year transformation and growth strategy.
Group CEO Christer Stoyell said the appointment marks a significant milestone for the food waste AD business and forms an integral part of the wider Group's growth plans, noting that BioteCH4's combined in-house strengths across construction, engineering, operations and trading give it a unique breadth to succeed in the market. He added that Simm's appointment would help attract new strategic opportunities and further establish the business as a leader in the UK biogas sector.
Simm, who has 14 years of experience in the organic waste sector, said he was joining at a defining moment in BioteCH4's growth journey and was energised by the opportunity to help accelerate a business with strong ambition, a robust innovation pipeline, and a clear commitment to environmental excellence. He said he was looking forward to working with the team as BioteCH4 enters a period of consolidation and sustainable growth.
