Novozymes, a producer of industrial enzymes, says 2013 financial results saw organic sales grow by 7% (DKK 5%, LCY 8%), EBIT by 6% and net profit by 9%. The EBIT margin increased by 0.3% to 24.7% compared with 2012.

Alberta-based Climate Change and Emissions Management (CCEM) now supports 51 renewable energy projects with $213 million (€157 million) in funding after adding 12 new projects between 2012 and 2013.

Camco Clean Energy, a global sustainable energy developer, has acquired a dung-to-electricity biogas plant in Hansen, Idaho, US for $2.9 million (€2.1 million).

Camco Clean Energy in the UK has acquired Cargill's biogas plant Hansen, Idaho in the US for $2.9 million (€2 million).
The plant uses cattle manure sourced from Bettencourt Dairies for the production of 2.1MW an hour of renewable electricity, which is sold to Idaho Power. This is now the second Camco-owned biogas plant in the state's Magic Valley.

UK on-site biogas plants increased their power generation by 40% in the last year, a survey by the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) has found.
