Reorganisation of biomass facility provider reaps dividends

Global biomass and renewable energy plant suppliers DP CleanTech (DPC) has released details about its new European manufacturing operations

After putting its European division, based in Tonder, Denmark into receivership last February, the company overall have recorded a profit in the first quarter of this year.

‘It has been a very challenging couple of years in the European clean energy market which necessitated us making some difficult decisions to reduce costs and remain competitive,’ says DPC CEO Simon Parker. ‘After restructuring to ensure sustainability and profitability, I can report a return to profit in the first quarter of 2013.

The new company, DP CleanTech Engineering Services, located in Copenhagen, was launched April.  It  will work with DPC’s offices in seven countries to provide engineering support, and research and development for global clients.

‘After an internal review, we have realigned around core engineering skills in Denmark to form the cornerstone of our strategy to build a global engineering platform,’ adds Parker.
