Global NRG Advisory exits Kentucky RNG project after securing $150m in financing
The Arlington, Kentucky-based project reached a series of key milestones under Global NRG's stewardship, including securing feedstock supply contracts, locking in long-term offtake with Targray, selecting EPC contractor Swinerton Energy, and securing $150 million (€138 million) in Private Activity Bonds through D.A. Davidson Companies alongside state-level tax incentives.
Chris Negus, co-founder and chief executive of Global NRG Advisory, said the firm was proud to have delivered the first major private infrastructure investment in Carlisle County in two decades. "I want to thank Judge Terry and the people of Arlington for their support throughout this process, and the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development for their partnership," he said. "We're excited about our future projects in Kentucky and contributing to the future growth of the Bluegrass State."
With construction financing in place and an EPC contractor selected, the project is now positioned for its next phase of development under new ownership.
