Construction of a biogas plant is underway in Voznesensk, Ukraine, after it commenced yesterday.
In addition to the biogas plant, which will generate 3120m3 of biogas a day from corn silo, energy plants and biomass, the governmental executive committee of Voznesensk has opened a cogeneration plant. Using 130m3 of natural gas, the plant will produce 400kW of electricity and 540kW of thermal power.
The cogeneration unit will be powered by biomethane.
