Stark Tech and Sagepoint Energy join forces on landfill RNG pipeline projects
Engineered skid specialist Stark Tech has announced a partnership with Sagepoint Energy to support two landfill renewable natural gas (RNG) projects, with the Buffalo, New York-based company supplying custom skid systems designed for pipeline injection applications.

The skid packages will handle gas conditioning and system integration, delivering landfill-derived gas to pipeline-quality specification while allowing for future capacity expansion at both facilities.

Craig Aszkler, executive vice president at Stark Tech, said the collaboration reflected a shared focus on reliable, scalable RNG infrastructure. "By delivering engineered skid systems tailored for pipeline injection applications, we're helping create infrastructure that supports both performance and long-term growth," he said.

Terry Peak, vice president of landfill operations at Sagepoint Energy, said Stark Tech's integrated systems reduced on-site complexity. "Their expertise in engineered skid solutions strengthens our ability to deliver pipeline-ready renewable natural gas at scale, without sacrificing quality or flexibility," he said.

The projects form part of broader efforts to recover methane from landfill gas and redirect it into the North American natural gas network, supporting decarbonisation targets across the waste and energy sectors.
