OnTurtle, a European provider of mobility and transport services, has expanded its range of alternative fuels by introducing Bio-LNG (liquefied biomethane) at 55 service stations throughout Germany.
This initiative strengthens the company’s ongoing efforts to promote sustainable transport and grow its network of low-emission fuel options across more than 1,800 sites across Europe.
The addition of Bio-LNG joins OnTurtle’s existing supply of LNG (liquefied natural gas) and HVO (hydrotreated vegetable oil). Currently, the company offers HVO at 71 locations, with plans to continue increasing the availability of both fuels.
Carlos Montaño, OnTurtle’s Marketing & Brand Manager, noted that around 5% of its customers already use these greener energy options - a share that is steadily rising.
He stressed the company’s dedication to expanding its low-emission fuel network: “We aim to keep growing our sustainable fuel offerings by gradually adding more HVO and Bio-LNG stations, supporting our customers as they shift towards cleaner, more efficient transport.”
By integrating Bio-LNG and continuing to widen its sustainable fuel network, OnTurtle is aiming to establish itself as a leading contributor to the reduction of carbon emissions in European road freight transport.
