Machine factory Reinartz joins the KAHL Group

With over 170 years of expertise specialising in separation processes, Reinartz will enhance the group’s technological capabilities and innovative strength. This partnership opens new strategic opportunities for the KAHL Group, particularly in areas such as alternative proteins, biomass processing, and mechanical drying.
Reinartz is recognised globally as a leading supplier of screw presses, filtration systems and separation technology. Its plants are utilised in a variety of applications including the extraction of high-quality vegetable oils, energy production from biomass, processing insect larvae into protein-rich press cakes, and process engineering research. The company employs around 50 staff at its Neuss site, where it develops and manufactures bespoke solutions for a broad range of industries.
Despite joining the KAHL Group, Reinartz will continue to operate under its own name and as an independent company. The site will remain unchanged, and all existing jobs will be retained.
The primary aim of the acquisition is to capitalise on synergies in technology, purchasing, and sales, while further developing the company’s expertise.
Within the KAHL Group, Reinartz will collaborate closely with Schule Mühlenbau, Neuhaus Neotec, and Amandus Kahl, especially in fields such as alternative proteins, oil pressing and biowaste processing. Reinartz will also benefit from the group’s extensive international sales network, facilitating faster access to new markets.
New management team at Reinartz
The integration into the KAHL Group brings changes to Reinartz’s management. Michael Moll is stepping down as managing director at his own request but will remain involved as a consultant and member of the advisory board.
The new management team will comprise Niklas Stadermann and the recently appointed second managing director, Artur Kühl. “This merger is designed to strengthen our innovative capacity and market presence in the long term,” said Niklas Stadermann. “Together with the KAHL Group, we intend to forge new strategic partnerships, expand distribution channels, and enter new markets.”
Reinartz joins six other independently operating companies within the KAHL Group, including Devex, Heinen, Neo Montec, Schule Mühlenbau, Neuhaus Neotec, and Amandus Kahl.
Together, they provide a wide range of industrial solutions — from feed mills, oat mills, coffee roasting plants, and food freezing installations to advanced extraction lines.
Uwe Wehrmann, CEO of the KAHL Group, commented: “Reinartz is the ideal addition to our portfolio. Like all our companies, Reinartz is committed to values such as reliability, trust, and long-term thinking. These principles form the foundation of a successful partnership where we learn from each other and continually improve.”
