Bright Renewables’ dedicated carbon capture portfolio will enhance EnergieWerk’s Dornbirn facility.
Bright Renewables is a global technology company that is fully integrated in the areas of biogas upgrading, CO₂ liquefaction, biomethane liquefaction, bio-CNG, and carbon capture. Bright has comprehensive in-house capabilities, including manufacturing, software development, and service & maintenance for all technologies.
Ivan Derkink is sales manager for – amongst other technologies – the carbon capture portfolio of Bright Renewables. He said it is quite a new market for an established technology, with Bright’s first commercially built unit having been in operation since 2021.
“This means part of the job is developing the market/business development, and another part is finding and building relationships with the right partners and customers,” explained Ivan. “At the core of the carbon capture unit, we can use either amine washing technology or Vacuum Swing Adsorption (VSA), depending on the characteristics of the project.”
