Tehran refinery starts jet fuel production
Iran's Tehran refinery began producing Euro-5 compliant jet fuel and gas oil on 7 February.
National Iranian Oil Engineering and Construction (NIOEC) invested approximately $650 million (€495 million) in the project, which is able to produce 5 million litres of jet fuel and 8 million litres of gas oil daily.
Additionally, NIOEC's €28.5 million jet fuel production unit at the Shazand Oil Refinery is producing 6 million litres a day of fuel, which meets the Euro-4 standards.
