TBEC invests further afield
Biogas firm Thai Biogas Energy (TBEC) is planning a Bt700 million (€11.66 million) investment in a number of biogas projects across Thailand and elsewhere.
According to the COO at TBEC Pajon Sriboonruang, the company wants to invest in a total of five facilities; four of which will be in Thailand while the fifth will be located in Laos.
TBEC aims for all five power plants to be operational by Q4 2011 and Sriboonruang explained that the company has already secured contracts with the customers of all five facilities. Work on the biogas plant in Laos is expected to start later this year.
