Suma completes its range with paddle agitators

Suma has announced it is expanding its range of agitator technology.
In addition to its existing product portfolio of submersible motor, long axis, and central agitators, the company now also offers paddle agitators.
Customers now have the option of purchasing all agitator types for biogas plants directly from Suma. They receive a comprehensive agitator concept with perfectly coordinated agitator technology, said the company.
In taking this step, Suma is entering into a partnership with Steverding Rührwerkstechnik, one of the leading manufacturers of paddle agitators.
Its many years of experience are reflected in reliable and sophisticated products, added the organisation.
In addition to Suma's own development, other Steverding paddle agitators are also available – including the Suma system concept, expertise, and Suma service.
Regardless of the technology used, customers now have a single point of contact for the agitator technology in their biogas plant.
In many processes, the use of different agitator types makes a decisive difference to the agitation result. The combination of long axis agitator, submersible mixer and paddle agitator guarantees optimum mixing of the substrate even under the most difficult conditions.
The slow-running paddle agitators complement Suma's long axis and submersible mixers to stir up floating and sinking layers in demanding processes. Highly viscous media can be mixed optimally.
The paddle agitators are suitable for fermenters, secondary fermenters, and digestate storage tanks with an installation height of up to 12 metres.
The agitators can be used in a wide variety of tank types and geometries made of steel or concrete. The agitators are available in horizontal and vertical designs. Robust three-stage planetary gearboxes ensure long-lasting and reliable agitation.
Different paddle geometries allow the agitators to be further tailored to specific requirements, thus delivering the best agitation results.
Accessories such as foil protection, permanent lubrication, and much more round off the extensive range.
