RuralAus has announced that its planned 10MW biomass power plant, located on Kagaroo island will create 30 new jobs.
The Perth, Australia-based forestry group intends to power its sawmill with the proposed plant, which will convert facility waste into power.
It will require governmental funding in order to run the operation at the scale desired, and the company is hoping to receive a grant from the Australian Centre of Renewable Energy
