Isometric launches pyrolyser pre-approval to accelerate validation

Isometric has launched a pyrolyser pre-approval scheme designed to remove a major bottleneck in validating and expanding biochar projects.

Previously, biochar suppliers had to validate each pyrolysis or pyrogasification unit individually. For suppliers scaling across multiple sites or deploying dozens of units in distributed projects, this significantly limited validation speed.

Under Isometric's certification system, manufacturers complete reactor validation upfront—meeting the same rigorous requirements—so suppliers don't have to. Suppliers select a pre-approved pyrolyser model in Certify and add those reactors to new or existing projects without repeating the validation process.

The result is streamlined validation, faster project expansion and accelerated issuance—while maintaining the same validation standards for every project.

Ankur Scientific and Beston Group have become Isometric's first biochar equipment partners. Ankur's PG-350 and Beston's BST-50 models are the first to receive pre-approval.
