Greenprav invests €35m in co-gen plant in Romania

Greenprav, a Romania-based power producer, is developing a €35 million biomass-powered cogeneration plant in the town of Busteni.

The facility, expected to be operational by mid-2015, is being built by Irish firm Prime Energy Power, the main shareholder for SC Greenprav SRL Romania. Upon completion, the plant will produce renewable heat and power for nearby businesses and households.

Around €18 million of the total investment will be direct financing from Greenprav.
