EverGen shares update on biogas sites following BC floods
EverGen Infrastructure Corp (EverGen) said it does not expect a material impact to its business as a result of severe flooding surrounding Fraser Valley Biogas facility or its Net Zero Waste Abbotsford facility.
The company confirmed that as of 17 November, the areas surrounding the Fraser Valley Biogas facility have been subject to an evacuation order and, as a result, the site has been shut down. The company’s Net Zero Waste Abbotsford facility remains operational.
EverGen confirmed the employees from both sites remain accounted for and safe. The company is continuing to monitor the situation in the Abbotsford and Sumas Prairie regions to ensure employee safety and project security for both facilities and to determine and assess damage to its property or assets.
