Curran Renewables receives PFI approval

Wood pellet manufacturer Curran Renewable Energy has become the second pellet mill in the US to receive certification from the Pellet Fuels Institute (PFI) for premium grade wood pellets.

The PFI sets a standard for wood pellets in the US, certifying that premium wood pellets meet a certain quality requirement. The institute carries out rigorous tests to assure all pellets are in compliance.

The certification means Curran's wood pellet bags will soon include the PFI stamp.
