Nova Scotia Power has officially opened its 60MW Port Hawkesbury biomass plant in Canada.
The plant started full operations in July, generating both renewable power and steam.
'A project like the Port Hawkesbury biomass plant takes the cooperation and expertise of many partners to help bring it to a successful completion,' says Mark Sidebotton, Nova Scotia Power's VP of power generation and delivery.
