Bioenergy collaboration signed in US

A new partnership between Biodico and the LamdaGen Corporation will see LamdaGen's nano-based Meta-Catalytic Surface (MCS) technology integrated into Biodico's research and development programmes for biomass-based diesel, combined heat and power, and biochemicals.

Other collaborations between the two will be explored via other ongoing Biodico research programmes, which also developed technology under a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement with the US Navy.

‘We look forward to this collaboration and the potential that MCS technology brings to further develop clean energy production for both biofuels and combined heat and power,’ says Biodico president Russ Teall.

Biodico headquarters is located at the National Environment Technology Test Site on Naval Base Ventura County, California.

‘We feel the research currently funded by the California Energy Commission at our biorefinery at Naval Base Ventura should dove-tail with LamdaGen's technologies,’ Teall added.
