Ecostrat and the BDO Zone Initiative have announced that Ark-La-Tex Financial Consultants, L.L.C. (ALTFC) has joined the BDO Zone Investment Coalition, a select group of investors and capital market partners focused on accelerating investment in biobased manufacturing, biofuels, renewable chemicals and other sustainable technologies.
The partnership is expected to expand access to structured financing for early-stage projects and support economic development in rural regions across the United States.
Founded in 2008, ALTFC has helped businesses secure hundreds of millions of dollars in loans and grants by providing properly structured financing solutions.
The company specialises in originating and servicing direct and guaranteed loan programmes through the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA).
Its client base spans a wide range of sectors, including agriculture, biofuels, manufacturing, healthcare, wind energy and green technologies.
Nnamdi Thompson, Business Development at ALTFC, said the company was excited to join the coalition.
“By combining our decades of experience with USDA and private sector financing programmes with the BDO Zone Initiative’s standardised approach to assessing project readiness, we can help early-stage biomanufacturing projects gain access to the long-term capital they need to succeed. This partnership supports not only investment in clean energy, but also economic growth and job creation in communities across the country.”
Jordan Solomon, chairman of the BDO Zone Initiative, welcomed ALTFC’s addition to the coalition.
“ALTFC’s expertise in structuring complex loans and facilitating access to USDA-backed financing makes them a natural fit for the BDO Zone Investment Coalition. Their involvement will help unlock capital for underserved rural projects and accelerate the deployment of biobased manufacturing in North America.”
Through its participation in the BDO Zone Investment Coalition, ALTFC will provide financial guidance and improved access to capital for early-stage biomanufacturing projects, helping them move from concept to commercial operation.
The collaboration aims to strengthen local economies, expand clean energy infrastructure and accelerate the transition to a more sustainable, biobased industrial sector.
