Carbon filtration company achieves ISO14001 Accreditation

Following a recent audit by Bureau Veritas, CPL Carbon Link has achieved ISO14001:2015 environmental accreditation.

Wigan based CPL Carbon Link is a provider of mobile carbon filtration systems and spent carbon reactivation services for purification applications in the water treatment, biogas and food industries among others.

With a focus on environmental purification, CPL believed it was important to have its environmental management system validated and accredited by an approved certification organisation, a statement from the company explains.

“Thanks to a great effort from the team in Wigan in preparing the required dossier and supporting documentation, we passed the audit with flying colours, receiving zero non-conformances at our first attempt”, said Steve Bell, CPL Carbon Link’s Divisional Directior.

“As the business moves into the next phase of its developmental strategy, it was vital that we achieved this accreditation, which sits alongside our existing and recently upgraded ISO9001:2015 quality certificate.”

Alongside operating through a network of logistics, warehousing and carbon processing partners throughout the UK, CPL Carbon Link also reactivated spent carbon its facility in Immingham, north east Lincolnshire.
